NEWSMART is an independent newsagent in Bexhill on Sea, East Sussex.  Bexhill is situated between Eastbourne and Hastings and is a lovely seaside town, full of independent, quirky shops for those special gifts .  

The shop was bought in 2004 by John and Michele Stocker.  In the four years or so that we have had the shop it has undergone a complete transformation.  

The shop is located in one of the busiest roads in the Town Centre.  We are near the Public Library and opposite both a Fishmongers and Butchers  (which are both excellent shops for fresh produce).

Our core service is Home News Delivery but we have expanded our range of Confectionary to fulfil the needs of the local community.

In 2005 the rear section of the shop was refurbished to accommodate over 250 Jars  of traditional and modern sweets.
